LED ZEPPELIN 2 – THE LIVE EXPERIENCE brings you the excitement of Led Zeppelin “In Concert” by re-enacting the live improvisation & onstage interaction that earned Led Zeppelin their legendary status for performing. Rather than a “greatest hits” show, you get to experience Zeppelin as Zeppelin would have played in front of an audience.

Since its initial critical reception, Led Zeppelin II has been acknowledged by many critics and music writers as one of the most influential albums of rock music, and has earned several accolades from music publications, frequently placed at or near the top of “best album” lists.

In 1989, Spin magazine ranked the album No. 5 on its list of The 25 Greatest Albums of All Time. In 2000, Q magazine placed Led Zeppelin II at number 37 in its list of the 100 Greatest British Albums Ever. In 2003, the album was ranked number 75 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. The album was also included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.

The album’s production was credited to the band’s lead guitarist and songwriter Jimmy Page, and it also served as Led Zeppelin’s first album to utilize the recording techniques of the engineer Eddie Kramer. Incorporating several elements of blues and folk music, Led Zeppelin II exhibited the band’s evolving musical style of blues-derived material and their guitar riff-based sound. It has been described as the band’s heaviest album.

Name the Moon is an American Rock band originally begun by Derek Luttrell and Mossy Vaughn who began just writing songs in Mossy’s bedroom Monday nights.

After some time they decided to pair music with their lyrics and what originally was suppose to be a side project began to evolve into something much bigger.

The band was signed on by Idol Records located in Dallas, Texas which has given the band room to grow and allowing them to spread their music reaching more states much faster than imagined.

Their self-titled album was released March 10 and is available on Amazon, iTunes, and of course idolrecords.com.

The Rock and Roll Institute is a summer camp for musically inclined kids from sixth through 12th grades who play guitar, bass, drums, keys or sing vocals. The camp motto is “Start a band Monday, play a show Friday.”

The camps are designed to help participants improve their music skills through coaching and teamwork. The camp features both band rehearsals and master class sessions, taught by some of Rockford’s finest musicians.

The instructors have years of experience in not only giving one-on-one music lessons but also as recording artists and live performers in their own bands.
